Jerah is Aina’s little sibling, and Zahira and Nikolai’s second child. They took strongly after their father, in many ways, including appearance. Due to the timing of Zahira’s disappearance, Jerah never really knew her, only retaining a few brief memories. Suffice to say, Jerah was raised primarily by Nikolai and it shows.

Jerah is a studious being, devoting himself entirely to education. They can spend hours in the classroom or library, pouring over texts to prepare for the Adult Aptitude exams. Jerah hopes to pass them before their fifteenth eon birthday. Ain is two eons older than they.

In Jerah’s free time, they study law (no surprise) in an attempt to get into the Justice Bureau upon passing the Aptitude exam, and when they feel accomplished, they do a fake patroling of the palace they live in, often getting snippy at Ain for breaking the house rules, and often breaking them as well to catch Ain in the act.

Jerah’s got an awful tattling habit, as well, but they’re still young, so it’s to be expected.

Jerah’s personality is largely calm and completely bland. Their speech is somewhat monotone, as is their wardrobe, which contains mostly various outfits in white and pastels. Arkh can produce and retract their wings, but Jerah chooses to leave theirs visible at all times, they feel it makes them look more regal, and only Ain is really quick to mock them every day for doing it.

Jerah’s relationship with his older sibling can be described as a rivalry. Ain is much more friendly and outgoing, and Jerah is better at school. They constantly have tizzies over their respective talents and harbor some measure of resentment against each other, as all siblings do.

Jerah’s abilities include an uncanny knack for possession of lower life forms, as well as a mastery of magic.
